Delightful Pilkington’s Royal Lancastrian Double Gourd Lustre Vase
Decorated with stylised Trees, Carnations and Foliage by Charles Cundall RA
Cundall was an acclaimed war artist with numerous works exhibited at the Royal Academy. The beginning of his career was spent under the tutorship of Gordon Forsyth. Prior to serving in the Army he was awarded a scholarship to the Royal College of Art. Remarkably, after injury in WW1, he taught himself to paint with his left hand.
