Large and Unusual Early Martin Brother’s Bird, with excellent modelling and defined tallons, head tilted back with a tan, brown and blue glaze.
The date is the bird is indistinct, but would date Circa 1880 with a fixed head.
Minor resotraiton to a chip to the rear of the head and flange and a small chip (barely visible) to the rear of the body
Marked to the Flange of the head and to the rear of the body
34cm including the ebonised base and 29.5cm ex base, 12.5cm wide, 12.5cm deep
